NILS
FRAHM
"Old friends new friends"
Nils Frahm’s double album Old Friends New Friends
gathers together 23 solo piano tracks recorded between 2009 and 2021,
almost all hitherto unreleased but, for one reason or another, omitted
from previous projects. The album offers “an anatomy of all my
ways of thinking musically and playing,” Frahm says, adding with
a smile, “Maybe I could say it’s an album I worked on for
twelve years, and finally I have enough material?”

TREES SPEAK
"Vertigo of flaws: emancipation of the dissonance & temperaments
in irrational waveforms"
Alongside their now trademark German krautrock motoric-beat
rhythms, angular New York post-punk attitude, tripped- out 60s spy soundtrack,
psyche-rock and 70s synthesizers and vocoders, here you will also hear
a new cosmic spacial awareness and a truly wilful pushing of sonic boundaries
as police sirens, static noise, alarms, radio signals, avant-garde voices
and orchestral string quartets.

in New York and produced by Youth (Killing Joke, The Orb, Paul McCartney)
and features ten brand new tracks, including lead single ‘Saturday
Afternoon’. Says Goldman, "Quite a turn-up to be making my
first album now, specially with my dear bred'ren Youth at the controls.
I found I had lots to sing about and my voice has improved!"

MARISSA
NADLER
"The paths of the clouds"
The Path of the Clouds, Marissa Nadler’s ninth
solo album, is the most stylistically adventurous, lyrically transfixing,
and melodically sophisticated collection of songs in her already rich
discography. Gripped by wanderlust while suddenly housebound at the
start of the pandemic in 2020, Nadler escaped into writing, and came
back with a stunning set of songs about metamorphosis, love, mysticism
and murder.

BEN WATT
"Storm shelter"
Storm Shelter is a 6-track companion piece to his acclaimed
2020 studio album Storm Damage. The mini-album, recorded during rehearsals
for the Storm Damage Tour in January 2020, is a stripped-back piano-and-vocals
set that was due for release during Watt’s world tour last year
before it was held up by pandemic-related postponements and the ultimate
cancellation of all his shows.
