KEITH KENNIFF
"Branches and routes"
A Pennsylvanian by birth,
Keith Kenniff is best known as the brains behind dulcet ambient/electronic
practitioners Helios and the fingers on the ivories of post-classical
piano minimalists Goldmund (the latter's music once described by no
less an authority than Ryuichi Sakamoto as "…so, so, so beautiful…").
Keith's music has been used on the soundtrack to Harmony Korine's 2007
comedy-drama Mister Lonely.

NOSAJ
THING
"Home"
It's been three years
since the release of Nosaj Thing's highly acclaimed debut album, Drift.
With a new album, label and imprint for Innovative Leisure, Home marks
the first time Nosaj has incorporated guest vocalists. Having
remixed and worked with the likes of The XX, Flying Lotus, Charlotte
Gainsbourg and Beck it was time to incorporate a few collaborations
of his own with Toro y Moi and Kazu Makino (Blonde Redhead) providing
ethereal vocals for two of the tracks on Home.

LUSINE
"The waiting room"
Lush, lambent electronic
pop and dancefloor candyfloss from Jeff McIlwain, his third as Lusine
for Ghostly and his first since 2009's A Certain Distance. Sleek house
numbers Lucky and February are reminiscent of Present Lover-era Luomo,
while Jeff's wife handles lead vocals on a purring, electroclashy cover
of Electronic's Get The Message.

BAUHAUS
"In the flat field"
When godfathers of goth
Bauhaus initially issued this insidious opening shot, it virtually changed
the face of the UK independent music scene overnight. Choice elements
of punk, glam and metal were stripped to their barest bones and infected
with a virulent strain of sonic spite. Statuesque and skeletal lead
vocalist Peter Murphy roars with a passionate commitment that's nothing
short of blood-freezing as Daniel Ash provides spiky shards of fractious
guitar dissonance.
