BRIGHT MOMENTS
"Natives"
Natives may be your first
official introduction to the music of Bright Moments but if you have
spent time with some of the most beloved indie albums of the last decade,
you'll quickly realize that you know him well. He is the multi-instrumentalist
whose trumpet sparks across so many of Beirut's songs and whose harmonizing
vocals is a central component to the band's robust live performances.

BVDUB
"Serenity"
His most (and possibly
only) overtly optimistic work, Serenity is a story of elation and freedom
from times when music didn’t yet know derision and arrogance,
when all it knew was beauty. This is the soundtrack to 7am, when only
the true remained and nothing else mattered.

LINDSTROM
"Six cups of rebel"
Lindstrom's fourth album
is an undeniably titanic affair destined for the modern disco. Part
Deep Purple-ish prog ebullience and part intergalactic dance fuel, Six
Cups Of Rebel is his most mature and coherent long player, informed
by a decade of production experience and an invaluable dancefloor education
drawing upon lessons learnt from vintage Baldelli and Beppe Loda mixes.

ULRICH SCHNAUSS
/ MARK PETERS
"Underrated silence"
Ulrich Schnauss, master
of shoegazer indietronica and Mark Peters, bass player, guitarist and
songwriter in the british band engineers, present their first collaboration:
they have crafted music which is enchanting in the truest sense of the
word, shimmering sounds, floating echoes, rhythmically reverberant chords
which wrap themselves around the listener, lifting him into a state
of suspension and carrying him gently away.

DJANGO DJANGO
"S/t"
For a colourful combination
of Beach Boys/Mamas and the Papas classic harmonies, gorgeous song writing,
modern electronica and indie rock cool, check out the fantastic new
album from the buzz-worthy Django Django. Their new self-titled CD showcases
a range of glitchy electronic synth-driven music, psychedelic guitar
work and masterful harmonies; a big sound for a 3-piece band.

MONOLAKE
"Ghosts"
Big new album from Robert
Henke, putting aside the autumnal ambient shades of his recent work
in favour of his darkest, most dancefloor-friendly release in ages.
The title track, which also opens the album, sets the punchy tone, and
finds the German reconnecting with his junglist roots, creating a sub-heavy
roller that feels like a more supple, sophisticated update of late 90s
techstep.

SUSUMU YOKOTA
"Dreamer"
Musical styles come and
go, but Yokota reigns supreme in a universe of his own making. ‘Dreamer’
is instantly familiar and yet full of surprises and like all of Yokota’s
best music, it leaves the listener in a state of wonder. Will appeal
to fans of Yokota’s LEAF period with album like Grinning Cat and
Sakura.
