"North"
As their first long player,
Darkstar have produced an album many bands with many more releases and
experience under their belt can only dream of. Elegant, downbeat, breezy,
sometimes melancholy and bleak, sometimes optimistic, North will surprise
many, a classic record for short days and long nights.

SOLAR
BEARS
"She was coloured in"
Dublin duo Solar
Bears may follow a similar path to Prins Thomas but they plot the
course with sun spots in their eyes. The results are charming, taking
Vangelis-style futurism, cosmic disco and pastoral romanticism. Totally
uncool. Totally brilliant.
